_ mission

studio 3J is a small and agile licensed Architectural practice based in Phoenix.

We believe quality projects should be more common and design services should be accessible to more people.

While we have a background spanning projects of all size and scale, our core focus is on sustainable housing where we can play a very hands-on role in all phases of project delivery.

studio 3J is led by a husband-and-wife team who have lived and worked together all across the world.

Ezgi is an Architect and grew up in Izmir, Turkey. She has an accomplished background, working on large commercial projects in Europe, the Middle East, Turkey and the USA. She has a specialization in historic preservation and enclosure systems.

She also has local expertise operating at a much smaller scale, managing projects for local homebuilders and non-profit community projects.

Ezgi received her BA in Architecture from Izmir Institute of Technology and is also a licensed real estate agent in AZ.

We believe architecture is a tool that make lives and places better.

Architecture should therefore be widely accessible and not a luxury. Sustainability and passive design are baseline requirements.

practice _

-> We perform as many required services in-house and take a master-builder approach to maximize value to our clients.

-> We protect our clients fiercely. We maneuver around bureaucracy and ensure no funny business happens at the job site.

design _

→ Look first to revitalize, then to replace, then to build new.

→ Rich doesn’t mean expensive. Simple materials and ingenuity go a long way.
